今回参加するのは、企画の存在を知ってから自身の監督作を想像していたという高良、ミュージックビデオの監督経験がある玉木、大学で舞踊学を専攻しダンサーの顔も持つ土屋、子役の頃から数々の撮影現場を経験してきた中川、狂言師であり舞台演出も手がける萬斎という面々だ。全員が映画監督の挑戦は初めて。5人が初監督への意気込みを語ったコメントは下記に掲載した。制作プロダクションは第1弾から引き続き「百円の恋」「ビジランテ」「犬猿」などで知られるスタジオブルーが担う。
